Summer Market at Metropolis at Metrotown

Summer Market at the Met returns to Metropolis at Metrotown from July 3-6! Located at the centre’s outdoor south Plaza on Central Boulevard, facing the Metrotown Skytrain Station, the free-to-enter market has grown with over 15 food vendors offering a constellation of culinary delights, along with a plethora of family-friendly activities, musical performances and plenty of (inter)stellar photo opportunities.

From authentic Taiwanese dishes at Typhoon BBT Café to Japanese-style creations at Wakwak Burger to Mexican street eats at Ponchos Tacos, the selection of entrees is out of this world. Quench your thirst with sips from vendors like Chaiwagon, which pours traditional Indian chai and refreshing mango shakes. Sweet treats like delectable Filipino desserts at Cake It Easy and Asian-inspired frozen treats from Crema Ice Cream are also available at the market.

Wander the market and discover live music and thrilling performances – from dazzling fire shows to mesmerizing juggling acts, along with SMASH!, an electrifying fusion of music theatre and street percussion. A pulse-pounding spectacle, SMASH! performers transform everyday items – including trash cans and water bottles – into instruments, contributing to an unforgettable experience that leaves a supersonic impression.

With plenty of family-friendly activities, including balloon twisting, face painting, and caricature drawing, photo opportunities with an astronaut, alien and robot, along with a Roaming Selfie Ring Photo Booth, the Summer Market the Met is a must-visit event for everyone.

Summer Market at the Met is available from July 3 - 5 from 2pm - 10pm, and July 6 from 2pm - 8pm.
