Art Vancouver

Art Vancouver
Overview
Art Vancouver is Western Canada’s leading contemporary art fair, celebrating its tenth year as a global meeting point for artists, galleries, collectors, and cultural leaders. Held annually at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the fair presents a curated selection of international exhibitors alongside ambitious new works, thoughtful programming, and opportunities for direct engagement with artists.
For four days, Art Vancouver transforms the waterfront into a destination for discovery—where museum-quality artworks, emerging voices, and established names are presented in a refined, welcoming environment. Visitors encounter painting, sculpture, photography, installation, mixed media, and digital practices from across Canada and around the world, offering collectors first access to compelling new bodies of work.
The fair is known for its strong curatorial voice, dedication to Indigenous and under-represented artists, and commitment to education and community access. Panel discussions, artist talks, and special exhibitions deepen the experience, inviting audiences into the ideas, processes, and stories behind the work.
With more than 10,000 attendees each year, extensive media reach, and a decade-long track record of excellence, Art Vancouver has become a trusted cultural institution—one that supports artists, nurtures collectors, and contributes meaningfully to British Columbia’s creative economy.
At its core, Art Vancouver is about connection: between art and audience, artists and patrons, and Vancouver and the global art world.
