2025 Granville Island Turkey Trot

The Granville Island Turkey Trot is a hallmark event for Granville Island and the Vancouver running community. Held annually on Thanksgiving Monday, this event brings together runners in a celebration of Thanksgiving, demonstrating gratitude for the sport and a commitment to supporting others.

The event features a scenic and fast 10KM race that starts at Granville Island, loops over the Burrard Bridge to the Seawall, turns at Science World, and heads back along the Seawall to the energetic Finish Line on Granville Island. It also includes a fun Kids Run.

Organized by the local non-profit RUNVAN®, the event supports local charities such as the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, Surrey Food Bank, and SHARE Family and Community Services. Participants can enjoy family-friendly activities, post-race food, and festive vibes, making it a fun and meaningful Thanksgiving tradition.
