Beaver Lake, often referred to as the jewel in the center of the Stanely park is a lake with a diverse wetland and 1km trail that goes completely around beaver lake. Beaver Lake is a unique wetland that covers 1.5km 2,060 step walk that travels inland of Stanley Park. The Lake allows for views of wildlife and native and introduced vegetation. It has gone many geological changes following the retreat of the Cordileleran ice sheets and the end of the galication 10,000 years ago.
