A true sporting city, Vancouver has long been home to passionate competitors and fervent spectators. This is a place with a history of excellence in sport hosting. A city that knocks it out of the park when it comes to hosting sporting events—from regional junior tournaments through to a world championship; from sunny, summer competition to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
