Community Volunteering Partnerships
Travelling for a meeting or convention isn't just about gaining a new perspective from the people and places you meet, but also about giving back to new communities and making a greater impact.
THE SHARING FARM
The Sharing Farm grows food for The Richmond Food Bank and several community meal programs. On this 4-acre farm, your delegates can get their hands dirty building team spirit, while helping to grow healthy food for families in need. The farm welcomes groups of 10 to 60 people, and is open from May to October (opportunities may exist in April).
STANLEY PARK ECOLOGY SOCIETY
The Mission of Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES) is education, conservation and research rooted in Stanley Park. Our Vision is of generations inspired by nature within and beyond Stanley Park. Invite your team to help The Stanley Park Eco-Stewards Program improve Stanley Park through various activities: removing invasive species, restoring degraded habitats, planting native species, decommissioning unsanctioned trails, and other enhancements.
THE FOOD BANK
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society (GVFBS) welcomes volunteer groups to help with the productions process of distributing healthy food to individuals, couples or families in need, or to participate in seasonal events that promote GVFB, educate the public and generate donations.
