Celebrate Earth Day at Vanier Park—and the traditional village site of Sen̓áḵw—with three of your favourite spaces! The Museum of Vancouver, the Vancouver Maritime Museum and the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre join forces as representations of land, sea and sky to honour the Earth on April 20 with kid-friendly activities! Scenic public park. Vancouver's best spot for kite flying! Site of the Vancouver Children's Festival and Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival, as well as the Planetarium and the Vancouver Museum. Walk the connector foot path to Granville Island. Also site of the Vanier Boat launch and the nearby Burrard Civic Marina where visiting boats can obtain moorage.
