The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is back July 18-20 at ʔəy̓alməxʷ / Iy̓ál̓mexw Jericho Beach Park.

Come immerse yourself in a sea of music from around the globe featuring contemporary folk, spanning roots, blues, indie, and world music. Bathe yourself in new sounds and old favourites, connect with friends and community, enjoy delicious food, experience that VanFolkFest magic at one of the most beautiful venues in the world.

The evening main stage features touring artists including Bab L’ Bluz, Ruthie Foster, Margaret Glaspy, The Heavy Heavy, The Milk Carton Kids, Shooglenifty, Watchhouse and The Zawose Queens. Canadian artists are represented with Haram, Elisapie and Ocie Elliott as well as On the Beach: Neil Young Reimagined - a collaborative project featuring a variety of festival artists.

The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is a Canadian cultural institution. It is a unique community-based celebration internationally renowned for presenting the finest traditional and contemporary folk and roots music from around the world. Now in its 48th year, the Festival continues to be one of the city’s most beloved, enjoyed, and respected events. Each year, the Festival draws tens of thousands of enthusiastic attendees to experience the music and culture of more than 40 international, national, and local acts.
