BC Event Management (BCEM) currently is specializing in Virtual and Hybrid events in the deluxe Virtual Studio we manage. Traditionally we specialize in Opening Ceremonies, Receptions, Gala Banquets, Award Shows, World Congresses, Grand Openings. Festivals, and Sports Championships. We were honoured to be chosen by the Vancouver Convention Centre itself to produce the Grand Opening of the newly expanded Convention Centre.
In business since 1987, BCEM provides Meeting Planners one-stop service for ALL conference services: registration (on-line and on site), staging, entertainment, lighting, audio, video, stage sets, décor, Production Management, CAD drawings, rigging, Technical Directors, Stage Management, and event crews. We also won the very top prize recently: Most Outstanding Event, from the Canadian Event Industry Awards. BCEM is Canada's record holder for event industry awards and nominations. We serve conventions, conferences, congresses, fundraisers, media events, launches and trade shows. We offer value packages that integrate lighting, audio, rigging, video, staging, stage sets and décor. We own MegaVideo™ as launched at PCMA’s 51st Annual Meeting and as featured at the Grand Opening of the new Convention Centre.
Conference Entertainment: BCEM was honoured to win the Best Entertainment Award* in a world-wide competition. (*The International Special Events Society’s Esprit Awards.) We are therefore not joking when we say we offers planners “some of the best entertainment in the world”! From subtle background music to headliners and custom extravaganzas, and everything in between, BCEM has specialized in entertainment for conventions for 30 years.
We offer two unique products: -our own cirque troupe, “Cirque Pacifique” featuring ex-Cirque du Soleil performers; and Fireworks designed just for conventions. Vancouver is unique in that we are permitted to produce large private fireworks shows at the Convention Centre to celebrate conventions.
