4th Annual Curry Cup Spices things up with a Curry Themed Cook-Off!
It’s a battle of the spices! On Monday, March 6 from 6:30pm – 9:30pm, you’re invited to sample some of the best and most innovative curry dishes at the 4th annual Vancouver Curry Cup.
A hotly anticipated event, the Curry Cup is a competition between eight Vancouver chefs from renowned restaurants for the best curry. Your ticket will get you the chance to sample some of these exciting curry dishes, each unique in its own right with diverse flavours from around the world. At the end of the day, only one curry dish will be crowned champion!
Taking place at the Heritage Hall, located at 3102 Main Street, the Curry Cup will feature 8 chefs from a diverse array of restaurants around Vancouver:
- Colin Johnson – Bestie
- Keith Pears – EBO
- Adam Perrier – Cafe Médina
- Dawn Doucette – Earl’s
- Neil Taylor – Espana
- Felix Zhou – Heritage Asian Eatery
- TJ Conway – Spenser’s
- Mathew Koyanagi – Savoury City Catering
Last year, the team from Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar won 1st place with a Balinese chicken curry. So, who knows what we have in store for us this year!

The Curry Cup is hosted by the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia, which helps support innovative and sustainable programs that will inspire, educate and nurture local chefs, producers and the food industry, all the while promoting standards of excellence with the aim of enhancing the reputation of our regional cuisine.
