About
Something is lurking beneath the water… explore what lies at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery! The creatures that live in our waters are beautiful, but they can also be strange, unusual, and unsettling before you get to know them. Yet, there is something scarier than sea monsters, ghosts, and goblins—marine debris (aka plastic pollution) is THE terrifying entity living in the darkest depths of the ocean and is looming this Halloween at The Haunted Sea, a popular seasonal installation at the Cannery. Learn how ocean plastic haunting the waters are brought to the surface and then evolve into something immersive, beautiful, and educational for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
