Four dancers and four musicians explore individual trajectories, interconnection and the boundaries of the performance space and time. Events are performed repeatedly, eventually collapsing notions of independence and predictability. Subtle and drastic changes alter relationships, perceptions and outcomes, as we confront the tension between what is seen and what is unseen. This is the foundation of contemporary dance choreographer Rachel Meyer’s latest work, Many Worlds, which will premiere on May 31st at 298 Alexander Street.
